On December 4, 2025, the Downtown Sandusky Cedar Point Historical Museum celebrated their first year anniversary. It’s Board, key volunteers, and representatives of the Merry-Go-Round Museum all joined together to mark the occasion with a dinner at Vita as well as enjoying a celebratory cake.
The museum’s 17 display cases have grown to 28 over the past year. Curator Candy Frankowski remarked that “our Cedar Point Museum has enjoyed tremendous growth due to the significant number of rare and unique items that have been donated. Our displays continue to expand.”
The Cedar Point Museum is located within the Merry-Go-Round Museum where visitors enjoy two museums for the price of one, plus a ride on a carousel!
